Truffles of Tasmania offers an intimate Truffle Hunting experience catered for small - medium groups during our winter harvest from June - August. Touch and hold this exquisite delicacy while smelling all the exotic aromas of a truffle. Later on, taste flavours of a forest on your truffle journey with us.

On our truffle hunts we encourage customer interaction with our truffle dogs and a special opportunity to smell the aromas of truffle within the soil and unearth a truffle with your own bare hands. During the truffle hunt, we engage with our customers and share some knowledge about truffle farming, our hard working dogs, and all things truffle.  We are happy to take questions during the tour and encourage you to do so.

After the truffle hunt has ended you will come back indoors to enjoy a truffle product tasting that forms part of your tour.

Truffle hunt package includes the following:

  • Duration:  approx 2 hours

  • Truffle hunt and opportunity to harvest and unearth a truffle. Seasonality within the environment can affect volume & quantity- However we do our best to give each individual person the opportunity to forage for a truffle.

  • Truffle taste test of our Truffle products and some local Tassie items in our farm shop.

Children under 10 Years of age are free with paying adults - Please mention children upon booking. **(Maximum 2 children free per one paying adult)**
